• 9Two are better than one,
Because they have a good reward for their labor.
10 For if they fall, one will lift up his companion.

But woe to him who is alone when he falls,

For he has no one to help him up.
11 Again, if two lie down together, they will keep

warm;
But how can one be warm alone?
12 Though one may be overpowered by another,

two can withstand him.

And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.(Eccl.4)
• Three-fold cord: Faith, hope, and love
• “ And now abide faith, hope, love, these three;
but the greatest of these is love” 1 Cor13:13
– Faith—
– Hope—
– Love—
• These three cords are essential for your life to endure
the changes that are coming to the nation and the
church.
• Satan’s three-fold cord:
– Control
– Religious
– Political

• While not easily broken, we must confront, shine the

light of God’s truth, and ultimately conquer this in our
land
• God is looking for a generation of believers
who I am calling the Joshua generation
• Joshua:
– Moses’ successor—transitional man/woman
– Great grace—law could not bring them into land
– Great faith—let us take it…no grasshopper
complex
– Great courage—God is WITH us
– Invasion vs. escape= two crossings
• Red Sea—typology of deliverance from sin

• Jordan—a RIVER. Rivers flow, like the Holy

Spirit, the Spirit of POWER for INVASION

• Some made it out of Egypt but never made it

to the promise land
• 3 Essentials For This Generation
– After the death of Moses the servant of the LORD,
it came to pass that the LORD spoke to Joshua the
son of Nun, Moses’ assistant, saying: 2 “Moses My
servant is dead. Now therefore, arise, go over this
Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I
am giving to them—the children of Israel. Jos.1:1
• 1. Moses is DEAD--let go of past: ALL of it

• 2. ARISE—shake off lethargy spirit of slumber,

shake off paralysis of past hurts, shake off
intimidation and fear—GET UP!

• 3. Cross over Jordan—be FILLED with the

Spirit!
