after 1990s in pakistan.
The State Bank of Pakistan is
facilitating Electronic banking
activity in country.Now all banks are
using this method to facilitate their
customer. Banks are trying to make
the banking more
convenient,accurate and more faster.

It is found that most important factors

encouraging consumers to use online
banking are lower fees followed by
reducing paper work and human error
which subsequently minimize
distributes(HOWCROFT et al,2002)
It is found a positive correlation between
convenience and online banking and
remarked that a primary benefit for a bank
is cost saving and for the consumers a
primary benefit is convenience(GERRARD
and CUNNINGHAM,2003)

Bank employees and office space

that are released in this way may be
used for some other profitable
ventures(BIRCH and young,1997)
Internet banking also increases
competition within the banking
system and also from non bank
financial institution.(ECB,1999)
