Distributed Computation with BOINC

Call For Participation

As part of a Diploma Thesis in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences
Bremen, a numerical simulation method has been developed. This simulation system is expected
to be extended into Distributed Computaion and implemented into BOINC (Berkely Open Interface
for Network Computing).

Wer are currentl y looking for Programmers and Participant Simulation-Projects

Programmers:

– Verification, it the current method can be implemented into BOINC

– Setting up and programming for the BOINC-server and -client
– Integration of the simulation system to the client and server
– BOINC-webserver maintenance

When you think you could do this we like to get in contact with you! (contact data see below)

Simulation-Projects:

There is no special restriction for simulation projects to participate in this project. The plattform
itself is meant to be open for all scientific and research objects. If the project falls under the
following criteria ...

– Scientific/academic work or research project

– It requires large computational power and can be solved by Distributed Computation

… then please fell free to introduce yourself and your project to us. We like to get in contact
you!

We are always available for your common and further questions!
