The artifact is a newsletter created by an educator for 8th grade students and parents about an upcoming college field trip to Shepherd University. The newsletter encouraged parents to participate and informed them that the purpose of the trip was for students to visit the campus to see if they might like to enroll after high school. The educator spent two hours discussing college options for field trips with other faculty, two hours creating the newsletter, and four hours chaperoning the field trip.

Reflection: I spent 2 hours in a faculty meeting discussing all the possible
colleges to take students to for field trips. I spent another 2 hours creating the newsletter and 4 hours taking the students on the trip. It was a nice trip and the enrollment advisors at Shepherd University were extremely accommodating to the students. There was a planned tour of the campus and the students received snacks and gifts from the advisors.
