Oracle Lab Exercise for Day 2

1.

To display employee number, name, salary, new salary (salary + 15% of salary),
difference between them. Everything should be rounded to nearest integer

2.

Display the employees with their service in months in descending order of service

3.

Salary will be reviewed on the first Monday after six months of their service. List
the review date of all the employees

List the employee name, their salary, commission and total income per month. If
the commission is null it should display No Commission

5.

Display the employee number, name, dept, location along with their managers
name and number

List the employees who have joined on Friday.

Find the most recently hired employee in each department

Display the empno, name and dept of all the employees who are working in the
same department as that of the given employee

Display the name and hire date of all the employees who have joined after a given
employee

Display all the employees along with their hire date who have been hired before
their managers

Find the maximum, minimum, average and total salaries of each designation

12.

Display the managers name and the highest and the lowest paid employee in his
team

13.

List the total employees and the number of employees hired in each year ( eg
Total 14, 2000 6, 2001 3, 2004 -5)

14.

Create a matrix query to display the job, salary for that job based upon department
number and the total salary for that job for all departments.
