STANDARD GUIDELINES FOR USE OF

TUN ABDUL RAZAK LIBRARYS ELECTRONIC RESOURCES
Electronic resources subscribed by PTAR are governed by license agreements that limit use to UiTM users
either by remote access or via UiTM library premises.
Each user is responsible for the authorized use only and any actions which violates the appropriate use of
the electronic contents may result in suspension of access to the licensed materials for the entire UiTM
community.

Permitted Uses:
Acess, search, browse and view the licensed materials
Download and print individual articles for scholarly research, educational or personal use
Make a reasonable number of photocopies of a printed article for scholarly research, educational or
personal use
Prohibited Uses:
Sharing or distributing an access password to unauthorized users
Substantially or systematically download, reproduce, retain or redistribute the licensed materials or
any journal or e-book contents
Displaying copyrighted materials on a publicly accessible website
Use licensed materials in a manner that would infringe the copyright or other proprietary rights
Commercial exploitation of the licensed materials

Note:
Depending on the title subscribed by the library, specific or additional permissions or prohibitions may be
included in each of the licensed product.
