    In!order!for!life,!there!has!to!be!a!
    seed,!just!a!single!seed.!

    Poppy,!a!grass!seed!buried!deep!underground,!
    waited!and!waited!for!her!moment!to!sprout!and!
    grow.!She!was!a!movement,!bottled!up!but!ready!
    to!burst!with!life.!
    !

    3!

    When!she!sprouted,!Poppy!sprung!in!all!directions.!
    While!her!new!leaves!grew!to!the!sky,!climbing!
    towards!the!brilliant!sunlight,!her!roots!reached!
    for!the!core!of!the!earth.!

    Her!flower!stretched!
    in!all!possible!
    directions.!Taller!
    than!ever,!Poppy!was!
    ready!to!share!the!
    possibility!of!new!
    blades!of!grass.!

    But!the!rough!winds!of!May!shook!Poppy!and!her!
    siblings!to!the!core.!The!blades!grasped!on!to!each!
    other!and!rocked!back!and!forth!with!each!gust,!
    crouching!from!the!menaces!harsh!bite.!

    She!was!uprooted,!blown!from!her!family!and!roots,!but!the!
    struggle!only!made!her!stronger.!

    With!each!harsh!blow,!she!flew!further!in!the!wind,!swirling,!
    tumbling,!bumping,!and!gliding.!She!was!spreading!life!and!she!
    was!happy.!

    trees!

    blanketed!the!backyards!

    matched,!switched!and!swapped!
    with!flowers,!kelp,!fruits!and!
    vegetables.!

    This!grass!of!change!spread!new!seed,!after!
    new!seed,!with!the!hope!that!one!day!they!
    themselves!would!become!grasses!of!their!
    own.!

    Though!these!seeds,!plants,!
    fruits,!and!algae,!were!all!
    different,!they!joined!roots!
    to!make!the!world!more!
    beautiful!and!whole.!

    From!one!little!seed!grew!an!entire!
    movement,!just!a!single!seed.!
