“U,u” Show-n-Tell
Our trip down Alphabet lane is nearing the
end. We will discuss the sounds of “U” and
that it is a vowel. We will brainstorm
words that begin with a “U” and also
practice writing some words that contain
the letter “u”. Please encourage your child
to bring something or a picture of
something that has a “U” anywhere in the
word.

We have had a busy week as we have talked
about a variety of Safari Animals. Our room
looks like a jungle and there are monkeys,
parrots & snakes hanging from the vines. We
have also discussed Gorillas, Tree Frogs,
Rhino, Elephants and Tigers. This afternoon
we had “GORILLA GORP” for a special treat
in the cafeteria. Ask your child about it.

Attached to the newsletter today is the treat
calendar and the new lunch menu for April.
Remember that next week is a short week
again because of “EASTER Break” but WE
WILL NOT HAVE EASTER MONDAY off.

used up
