Kicking Save and Clear

Goalkeeper starts in ready position (see previous sheet)


Belly button or point at pressure towards the ball
As the ball comes in Gk will rotate hips towards the ball, bend knees in to the lunge position to ensure power and kick through the ball,
planting foot into the ground
Head and upper body should be over the ball as seen in the demonstration to ensure the ball does not lift dangerously
Gk should then move back into ready position in case of a rebound shot
