Collaboration/Orientation Assignment CVA English/Language Arts

Returning Student
When all tasks/questions below are complete, please submit the Orientation
Collaboration Assignment in the Collaboration assignment(s) for your current
English/LA Segment. All information can be typed directly into the Comment box or
completed in a word processing program and submitted as an attachment. Lastly,
Complete the Returning Student survey by clicking the following link:

confirmation of completion of the survey.
1. Please write all assignments due by the end of Week 3 of Segment 2 according to your
pacing chart (This includes assignments due in Weeks 1, 2 and 3).
The assignments that are due are as follows:
4.00, 4.01, 4.02
4.03, 4.04
4.05, 4.06

2. Please explain where you would go to access your gradebook and how you can read your
instructors comments for each assignment.
I would go to the main menu or 3 bar icon, and click on Gradebook. I can read comments by
clicking on the assignments name and scrolling to comments.

3. In the Gradebook, what does it mean if an assignment is shaded green? Shaded red?
Shaded blue?
If the assignment is shaded green, I have gotten a 60% or higher. If the assignment is
shaded red, I have below a 60% on the assignment. If it is blue, the assignment is
submitted and ready for grading.

4. After a DBA is scheduled, who is responsible for making the phone call? The student? Or
the instructor?
The student is responsible for making the call.
