Experience
November 2009 - March 2010 Cable Assembler
RJ Electric
Cleveland, Ohio

Duties included pulling cables/wires through sealtite and then


terminated at custom plug assemblies and/or coaxial and cat6
connections. Various tools including wire cutters, crimps, soldering
irons, and other basic hand tools were used. Also was responsible for
pulling parts, maintaining stock, loading/unloading trucks by hand or
forklift.

February 2008 – July 2009 Laboratory Technician


Insight Services
Strongsville, Ohio

Operated various instruments in the analysis of oil samples that are


part of companies up scale preventative maintenance programs.
Procedures for the operation of these instruments are to ASTM
standards. Instruments include; viscosity, inductive coupled plasma
(ICP), infrared, total acid number, total base number, particle count,
wear particle, demulsability, filter debris analysis, extraction, flash
point, distillation and other less frequent tests.

August 1998 – February 2007 Electrical Technician

Responsibilities included reading and interpreting electrical schematics


and building and wiring electrical panels to UL specifications. Control
panels consisted of PLC’s, Flex I/O, Powerflex Drives, Motor Starters,
Touch Screen industrial computers, Transformers as well as an
assortment of components made by Allen-Bradley, Siemens, ABB,
Mitsubishi and others. Primary customers were Goodyear Tire and
Rubber Co, Owens Corning, Texas Shredder and others. Secondary
functions were minor programming, testing and troubleshooting of
these panels as well as the start-up of the coinciding machine or
system that these panels were built. Accessory work included
mounting of boxes, conduit, photoeyes, proximity sensors and other
such devices required for a machines operation. Additional
responsibilities included inventory, packaging and shipment, assisting
in the loading and unloading of trucks using manual and powered fork
lifts and overhead cranes, and building maintenance.
