The Bermuda National

Trust
The Bermuda National Trust is a charity that was established in 1970.

The Trusts programmes and activities are focused in


the key areas of
Preservation, Education and Advocacy. The trust purchases traditional
Bermudian property
and land and protects it from being
built on or knocked
down.

In the National
Trusts care are
82 properties,
covering some
277 acres and
representing
much of the
best of Bermudas heritage

Its forerunner was the Bermuda Historical Monuments


Trust, working in conservation

Over 3,000 children participate


annually in the curriculumlinked school programme.

The Bermuda National Trust was


formed to preserve natural, architectural and historic
treasures and to encourage public appreciation of them.

The Trust has a


strong education
programme, focused
on encouraging appreciation of our history and what it
means to our future.
