Based on table shows the mode of transports, cost trip and income of the

respondents who participated in this study. There are many changes in the mode of
transport used by the respondent for journey to work. The highest modes of
transportation used are car ferry bus (135). A total number of 83 respondents
out of 287 respondents were using these changes of mode of transports. Income
range RM 3001-RM5000 recorded the highest number of respondent which is 43
respondents out of 83 respondent used these mode of transport.
Most of the respondents in this changes mode of transport use the cost trip of
between RM5 - RM10 which are 36 respondents out of 83 respondent while, the
minority is use RM20.10 - RM 25 and above RM 45.10, which each recorded only a
respondent. The lowest mode of transport used is motorcycle bus ferry taxi
(2536) and bus ferry bus taxi (5356) which each recorded only a respondent.
Both of respondents that used this mode of transport are earn income RM3001RM5000. However, for the mode of transport (2536) respondents used RM15.10
RM 20 for cost per trip while mode of transport (5356) used RM25.10 RM30.
A total of 83 respondents chose 3-2-1 as a mode of transportation to commute to
work. Travel respondents arrived at the house in which respondents choose to drive
yourself and park at the pier or husband or friend to send to the jetty by car and
ferry to get across in the services and bus services to get to work. This trend is very
popular among users ferry in which respondents choose to use the public service in
the island and to avoid driving their own vehicles on the island. By selecting the
mode of transportation 3-2-1, respondent issued a one-way cost of RM 5-10. With
these cost savings, the respondent issued an RM250 (approximately) in a month.
With the income range RM3001 to RM5000 are enough for respondent to saving
their cost in daily life.
