MATERIALS
2.1 Cement ASTM C150 Type I Portland
2.2 Reinforcing bars ASTM A615 Deformed:
Grade 60 = 20mm and above
Grade 40 = 16mm and below
2.3 Reinforced concrete cylinder samples shall attain a 28-day compressive
strength of fc = 3,000 psi (20.7 MPa).
2.4 Structural steel rolled sections and plates shall conform to ASTM A36 with
minimum yield strength of Fy = 36 ksi.
2.5 Concrete Hollow Blocks: Non-Load bearing type with minimum bearing strength
of fm = 2.40 MPa (350 psi)

FOUNDATION
All foundations were designed with an assumed allowable soil bearing pressure of
144 kpa (3,000 psf) at 1.20 meter below natural grade. Jobsite to confirm if actual
soil conditions are the same as those assumed in the design.
