I am a hard working student who strives to do the best as I can. I have gained a lot of educational
experience since I have had education in numerous places. I have gained work experience from
service work which I did while i was still at school and IB prepared me how to work hard and what I
need to do in order to succeed.

Work/volunteering history
I have worked in a soup kitchen which was called Nativitas. It was a soup kitchen in central
Brussels where homeless people would go. They were able to get a meal for 2 euros. I was
working in the kitchen and i also helped to serve the people that were there. This allowed me to
develop my work ethic and also my time management skills had improved. Working collaboratively
with other people also helped me improve my work ethics. It felt good to help people in need.
Also, I worked at a childhood centre which was called Garcia Lorca. This centre also was in central
Brussels. There, I was helping kids with their homework for free since they werent able to
purchase a personal tutor. This sometimes was a struggle since I was trying to help them with their
Dutch homework but they usually werent able to speak Dutch. Therefore it was hard to
communicate with them. This made me improve my patience and made me want to work hard and
keep trying until i would be able to understand them.
