Today, many people believe that consumer culture has played a vital
role in improving our lives, but not everyone agrees with this statement,
depending on the point of view of each one.
On the one hand, if this culture of consumption dont exist, we would
continue arrested to the solutions and realities of the past while the world
around us continue to evolve, which would eventually relegate us to a
parallel reality. On the other hand, this consumer culture has also affected
our lives, because, before, some things were fairly simple to do, and today,
with so many means we have to do them, were confused and indecisive,
and end up doing bad the things.
Without doubt, this culture of consumption has improved a lot in our
lives. Nowadays, everyone has a good course, a good house, a nice car ...
well, a good life. However, it is not all good, since much of the world's
population, with the goal of having a good life, end up getting into loan after
loan, eventually losing the freedom and the joy they had, because they live
to pay what they owe to banks or similar entities.
In short, despite the two sides of this consumer culture, it is a very
good thing, because without it we would end up being always stuck to the
same reality. But not to fall into the bad graces of culture, we have to learn
to find the balance between "need" and "want".
