RE: Job application for Graduate Training Scheme
I am writing to apply for the above position, which I came upon on your website. Currently, I
am studying Film and Television at Southampton Solent University as a top-up year, and I
already have two years study from Norges Kreative Hoyskole under my belt. I won some
short film script contests in my class, which I directed as well.
Thinking about the ethics for a location is essential for any production. With that in mind I
have experience with dressing a location, and also designing a television studio. I took part in
creating the studio for the television production which was part of my course at Southampton
Solent University. My grandmother used to be an interior architect and has taught me a thing
or two about fine arts and ethics. It is something I am able to bring to the table.
I have employment experience in diverse roles, including education, customer service, and
whitin creative subjects such as film. There was a time when I was an assistant for a 12 year
old boy with autism. He really helped me being better at seeing things from the other side,
especially in the terms of communication. Furthermore, I am very used working in a group as
it is very difficult to make a film on your own. A key element to manage teamworking is that
each party has their own role to focus on. The commercial sector is also to be included, as I
have both shot a couple of commercials and played in one myself. My background can be
transcribed into several skills which are appealing according to the job description;

The Graduate Training Scheme really does seem like an amazing opportunity to build
bridges with with other people working in the creative area, and also beyond that.
Additionally, there is room to demonstrate your talent and grow into a beautiful flower with the
support of the agency.
