Outline
Aladdin is this years Millennium Forum pantomime
production and is expected to begin on the 4 th of December.
It is believed that Aladdin was first pantomime ever ran
and was held in convent garden in 1788 in a version by
John OKeefe.
This year marks Aladdins 100th year of pantomimes and the
book itself.
For the teaser we intend to interview the actors of the
production and audience feedback for vox-pops.

Treatment
In the trailer it will begin with a storybook opening with narration
speaking about the tale of Aladdin.
There will be cutaways of past Aladdin productions from years ago
and go into the present. Its to build up the interests of the public
coming up to the production. Clips of rehearsals, audience shots from
previous performances will be shown and also Widow Twankey
moments and the key characters that are in the making of the
production.
We have made contact with our client, Amanda McLoone. She works
for the millennium forum and will organize interviews during windows
of opportunity, which will be conducted in the beginning of December.

Equipment, Crew & Schedule

We will be using the colleges JVC cameras, DSLRS, steady
cam rig, GoPro and microphones to film interviews with the
cast members of the pantomime. A the equipment being
used is from college, I will need a risk assessment to insure
that the equipment does not get damaged whilst in
production.
We will have to recruit more crew members to assist with
the filming process.
We would like to get videos of the cast rehearsing and
record interviews

Location & Archive Materials

We have been given permission to film in the
Millennium Forum, Derry Londonderry. It is near the
college and is in walking distance so spending money
on transport wont be necessary. Filming will mostly
take place inside but we will also film at the entrance at
outside.
Our client has will be supplying any archive footage
necessary. As its the dames 10th year in the
pantomime we will be using achieve footage of his
pervious years in production.

Aims For Final Film

The purpose behind the trailer, voxpops and
interviews is to build excitement running up to
the pantomime. It will give the audience an
idea of what they can expect.
The voxpops and audience reactions will
capture the essence of going to the theater
as its seen as a family tradition in peoples
eyes.
