THE MOBILE PHONE

BY: ANDREW O, JOURDAN S, MASON A, & AUSTIN K

Q: WHY DID YOU CREATE THE MOBILE

PHONE?
A: I created this to make communication easier around the
globe. Its now easier to talk to someone directly thats far away.
The telegraph could send messages but it took a long time to get
there and it could be intercepted.

Q: WHAT ARE THE COMPONENTS IN

YOUR MOBILE PHONE?
A: The components are a battery, an input
mechanism that allows you to talk to other people,
a basic mobile phone service, and an antenna that
gives the phone range so it can reach to further
areas.

Q: HOW DOES THIS MOBILE

PHONE WORK?
A: The phone turns your voice into sound waves,
then sends it to the nearest cell phone tower, which
send it to another phone and the phone turns the
sound waves into your voice again. Its basically a
two-way radio.

Q: HOW IS CHANGED OVER

TIME?
A: It started out as a 10 inch and 2 pound phone nicknamed
The Brick. Next, was a Nokia 5110, it had a significantly long
battery life and it held the first ever mobile phone video game,
Snake, with a 47 x 84 pixel screen. The TracFone was a prepaid
mobile phone company and was Mexicos largest telephone
company. Lastly, now there is the smartphone. They have a very
large selection of music, games, and apps to download. You can
access the internet from these and it has a touchscreen.

Q: HOW HAS THE MOBILE PHONE

IMPACTED THE SOCIETY?
A: It has been good by letting people have long
distance communication. But, on the downside it is
endangering people in cars and pedestrians
everywhere.

Q: HOW WILL CHANGE IN THE

FUTURE?
A: Were expecting it to have a new design where it
stands by itself so you wont have to worry about
dropping it anymore. And instead of the screen
being flat and sitting there we want it to pop at you
like a 3d movie.
