~ The War has begun~

As the wife of Gen. Josh Cullen, you never know when you are going to
get “the” phone call or when the priest and a soldier show op at your door.
And this is where my life starts, one rainy night I heard a knock on the
door, as I saw who it was, I began to cry. I didn’t know what to do should I
contact his parents, should I contact my parents, should I just cry? I was so
confused. The first thing I did was contact his parents, we talked and
mourned for a while, then all of a sudden they were at my house, with their
kids, my parents, and my brothers and sisters. We all cried for a long while,
talking about all the good times we had with Josh. We all arranged his
funeral. Weeks later, the day of the funeral many people and soldiers who
sent gifts of food, money, and other sorts. As I saw a handsome soldier
who was very sincere. His name was Maxwell Muller, I believe. He sent
500$ and a basket full of chocolate. Which I refused to take the 500$, so he
put 300$ in the basket without me knowing. As soon as I found out I was
eager to give at least 200$ back. I did know where Max lived, but I didn’t
know what to say. So I drove to his house, and sat in my F150 for 30
minutes before I could think of something to say. But out of the blue I saw
him walk outside*This is my time I thought* so I got out of my truck and he
saw me , so of course, like the gentle man he is he walked straight toward
me, with a flirtatious look in his eyes.”Hi, how are you today?” he said. “I’m
doing great, how about you?”I said. “Ok, I guess. Would you like to come in
for some coffee? ”he asked. “I would love to, but more important, I wanted
to return this money to you, thanks but no thanks you might need it some
time.
