Subject: Introducing Kate Conlin as a possible team member.

I have found a new member to help finish our project on time. The deadline for
completing the project is coming up soon, and we need to make sure that it is complete
and presentable. I have been acquaintance with her for many years and I am confident
that she will get a long with everyone. Kate is a hard worker and will increase our
chances of completing the project on time.

She Understands What it Takes to Accomplish Goals

Kate has large goals, but she also takes to proper steps in order to reach these high goals.
She has a lifetime goal of becoming a successful nurse, and has already started to prepare
for this goal by doing community service hours at a local hospital. She completed fifty
hours of helping the child care department, and earned the respect of the people around
her. Kate is not a person we need to worry about getting her portion done, and we know
she will put together a presentable part of our project.

She has a Respectable Academic Record

When Kate was in high school she had an article written on her accomplishments in
academics. She had an overall GPA of 3.95. When she got to college there was no drop
off. She has a collective GPA of a 4.0 during her first two terms here at Oregon State
University. She received an “A” in writing 121, and has no weaknesses in her business
writing. Kate would obviously be a great addition to our group because of her successes
in school. Her GPA speaks for itself, and would be in no way a liability to our group, but
rather a valuable addition.

She Works Well in Group Settings

Kate has been working in group settings her entire life, and enjoys nothing more than
getting to know new people. She has proven to me through life experiences that she gets
a long with most people. She has worked many jobs including babysitting where it is
imperative to get along with different people of different age groups. She will get along
with the people in our group and will be a very exciting person to work with.
