the workshop on the mass with

Jim Wahl this Sunday from 1-2
in the church. If you attend
11:30 mass there will be a light
lunch served in Fellowship in
between. The children will receive their mass books during
this interactive parent and child
workshop. It will be one of the
BEST ways to help prepare for
First Eucharist. Please send your
childs mass book to school after
you receive it so we can utilize it
in class.

Academically Next Week...

Reading Groups: We will continue to work on our written responses
for comprehension questions.
Phonics: We will wrap up Unit 7 in Fundations. We will be focusing
on vowel-consonant-e syllables, v-e syllables, and open syllables. Please
look on our blog for the parent letter for Unit 7 to explain all this!
Religion: We will working through Chapter 14: Sharing the Good
News. Please remember to be signing the weekly review. The children
will lose a Good Time Ticket if it is not signed.
Math: We start Chapter 6: Geometry. We will be focusing on the following concepts: solid figures, plane figures, vertices, and edges.
