Sisters often argue about pointless subjects when growing up together. The author recalls their oldest sister Sadie getting very angry during fights, turning red in the face and clenching her jaw while screaming. No sister relationship is perfect, as arguing is bound to happen, but forgiveness is necessary to survive living together.

Theres no way of getting around it, when you have a
sister arguing is bound to happen. Most of your fights will be about pointless subjects. As a child, my oldest sister, Sadie, would turn beet red showing off a vein in her forehead, her jaw would clench and flecks of her saliva would hit my face. Shed scream, NO IM MORE LIKELY TO HAVE A BLIZZARD ON MY BIRTHDAY! Im not saying you wont get along, Im just saying that no sister-sister relationship (or in my case sistersister-sister-sister relationship) is going to be all fun and games, and forgiveness is necessary for survival.
If your sister remains angry at you for too long, show her a picture of a cat, or better yet buy her a cat. (see Cats section)
