SOM MEGATHON 2016 RULES AND REGULATION

Rules and regulations are as follow:

1. Students aged below 18 years old must get the permission from parents or guardian to attend
this event.
2. Students aged below 15 years old must be accompanied by a parent or a guardian to
participate in this run.
3. Every runner shall run carefully and with due regard to the safety of other runners and other
road users.
4. Every runner must comply to the instructions of SOM Megathon marshal and traffic officer.
5. Runners must pass through all checkpoints. Failure to do so will result in DNF (Did Not
Finish).
6. Early Bird participants (first 200 person) will receive a special gift.
7. The fees include UV Glow T-shirt, UV Glow ink, UV Glow Tattoos (MEGATHON LOGO),
UV glow shoelaces, glow stick, glow glasses, finisher certificate and finisher medal.
8. Runner shall wear the shirt that will be provided by the organiser.
9. Lucky draw prizes cannot be converted to cash.
10. The organiser shall reserve the right to cancel the SOM Megathon run if in case the running
course are not permissible for such event to be continued upon due to bad weather or other
safety and security concerns deemed significant and important to the participants. The
organiser shall provide notification on a time-to-time basis to notify the participants of the
suitability of the running course in case of erratic weather patterns.
11. Entry fees are non-refundable. The organiser has the right to retain the entry fees with or
without the participation of the participants on the event date itself.
12. The organiser shall reserve the right to adjust the rules and regulations, the running course,
and other relevant information deemed necessary that is fit for the event day condition
without prior notice to the participants. The organiser reserve the right to change the structure
of the event depending on the operations, technical management, weather conditions, safety
and security of the event date itself.
13. The SOM Megathon Organising Committee decisions are final.
14. All entry forms and payment must be submitted by 1st March 2016 (payment is by cash or
bank-in only). We look forward to your participation in the SOM Megathon!
