W h at i s C R E W ?
CREW is a course that builds a culture of respect, responsibility, courage, kindness, and leadership where students and adults are committed
to quality work and citizenship. CREW leaders support students in their
understanding and ownership of the Habits of Scholarship through case
studies that address the following guiding questions:

HOW DO I GET WHERE I WANT TO GO? Junior CREW 3

H ow i s C R E W g r a d e d ?
In the case studies, students earn proficiency ratings based on the CREW rubric through selfevaluation and evaluation by the CREW Leader. The total rating will be converted to a grade at
the end of the course, so what you will see on the first semester report card is the grade conversion of your students current rating. Your student's final proficiency rating/grade will represent the students growth based on the rubric through the whole year. It will not be an average
of first semester and second semester grade.
