Explain your artifact final product and ALL the steps you took to create it.
At the end of my story corps assignment I had a 17-min interview with my mother. All it took was
20-min of her time and a quiet environment.

What is the most important thing you learned during this process?
I learned how much my mother sacrificed for me when she 1 st had me.

Explain the significance of your artifact and how it connects to the narrative.
The assignment was significant because it can show why Im the person I am today. Her
experiences have taught me a lot and this connects to the narrative because I talked about how
she shaped who I am today.

What do you wish you had spent more time on or done dierently?
I wish I had more time doing this artifact because it helped me personally connect with my
mother in ways we havent in a long time.

What did you find most challenging during this task?

I found having to speak clearly with no mistakes difficult because when speaking while being
recorded, you get a heightened nervous feeling.
