    IMMEDIATE RELEASE
    January 19, 2016

    UPDATE: Overland Park Police Investigating a Homicide


    On 1/18/2016, around 5:30 PM, the Overland Park Police Department responded to the 6100
    block of Foster Street in regards to a medical call. When officers arrived they located a deceased
    female, identified as Jennifer Lopez (35 years old) of Overland Park, KS.
    Officers on scene took one person into custody for questioning regarding Ms. Lopezs death. The
    subject taken into custody for questioning was arrested and later transported to the Johnson
    County Jail to await formal charging.
    This investigation is still on-going and no further information is available at this time.
