Time: 4pm-5pm February will be month of recruitment and tabling for the club on Tuesdays from 10:30-11:30am. We all decided that the officer meetings will be monthly at 6:30pm at the Eko Coffee Bar and Tea House in Hayward. Google Hangouts or video chat if an officer is absent to a meeting Bi-weekly meetings for regular members: -Wednesday at 1:30-2:30pm which will be lead by Hadia -Tuesday and Thursdays at 3pm-4pm which will be lead by Jennifer and Jasmine Upcoming Events On Saturday, January 16th is the Brain Bee event at CSUEB Hayward campus in which Hadia and Cody will volunteer in setting up for the event. On Tuesday, January 19th , at 12pm, the STEM focused campus tours at CSUEB Hayward campus will allow high-schoolers to view the Science Department of campus and ask questions regarding the department and experiences that college students face. January 30th from 8am-5pm- African American Regional Education Alliance Area Conference at CSUEB Hayward campus which helps to stimulate black success for K-12 students. February 1st hosts Black Student Union students from Merrill F. West HS in Tracy and from 12pm to 3pm - 16 students February 22nd hosts the Space & Science Academy from Merrill F. West HS in Tracy from 10am to 1pm - 30 students April 6th - Socratic Seminar event at CSUEB Hayward campus, which invites students, student organizations and STEM professionals to speak on the issues of African Americans involvement in STEM academia, STEM professions, and the special obstacles they face in the United States.
