Premise
Dreams and
resourcefulness lead to
freedom

Logline
a touching story about a lonely
garden gnome left trapped in the
shed when his home owner
becomes too old to care for the
garden. He makes his dream
become reality and finds a way to
escape.

Outline
The garden is gnome is trapped in the garden shed, he used to sit
out in the garden but as
the house owner aged he became unable to tend to the garden and
so put the gnome away in the
shed along with various other bits and pieces. The gnome dreams of
escape

Gnome at the shed window looking out over the !red garden,
grass is long, plants
overgrown.
He dreams about going to the moon and vising the stars
In the shed has various old tools, pots, bits of metal, string, wood
etc
As the gnome looks around the shed he comes up with an idea
to build a telescope.
He sets about finding what he needs to build his telescope orhe
finds a telescope
He builds the telescope
Happily climbs up to look out of the window, uses his telescope
and sees much more of the
world beyond the garden
At night he looks up at the moon and the stars.
He then becomes sad again and wants to get out of the shed.
Looks around the shed again
Sets about finding what he needs to build a rocket
Builds the rocket and breaks out of the shed
As he (ies away he looks back with sadness to the man in the
house
But looks happily forward to his new adventure.
