Dear John,

I am writing because I to say that Im sorry for not returning your money on time.
When I got home, my parents told me we have to go to the hospital, because a family member
had an accident. Unfortunately, we were in a rush, so I didnt have the chance to tell you that Im not
going to be in town for a day or two. No one was badly injured, so we only stayed around for two days.
When I got home, I sent my brother to give you the money, because I caught a cold on the way.
Hopefully I didnt cause any problems. Anyway, Im going to be more careful next time.
