A student wrote a thank you letter to a probation officer she job shadowed. In 3 sentences: The student expressed gratitude for the opportunity to observe the probation officer's busy day and learn what the job entails. Mrs. Elizabeth Hoogstra
1045 Independence Blvd. Charlotte, MI 48813 Dear Mrs. Hoogstra: Thank you for allowing me to job shadow you. It was a great experience to see what a probation officers day is really like. You seem very busy, so thank you once again for taking time out of your day to show me what you do. I realized a lot of things about being a probation officers that I hadn't before. You have to have a lot of patience to be able to work with troubled adults that just need someone there to help guide them along all day. Also, how many people actually seem to do better and then some who just lie to your face. I definitely have made my decision to pursue becoming a probation officer career. Thank you so much for helping me find that I actually want to help people in a different way than nursing. Sincerely,
