The most popular film genres were action/adventure, comedy and drama. The biggest influences on watching a film were liking the genre, actors, and friends' recommendations. Most thought film trailers should be 1-2 minutes long. Bright colors, actors, and dramatic images most drew attention to posters. Poor video or sound quality and lack of interesting content made trailers less appealing.
