Coordinate outreach to employers from career fields in creative arts, design, media, non-profit and communityfocused organizations to generate internship and experiential learning opportunities.
Develop innovative strategies to collaborate with companies locally, regionally, and nationally to establish new
internships and promote existing career opportunities to undergraduate students in the arts and humanities.
Designed, launched and co-led a 1-credit experiential learning trip to Chicago with 18 students to explore career
options in arts, museum studies, theater and nonprofits. Organized 6 employer visits and a networking event,
coordinated logistics and developed coursework.
Advise students one-on-one to coach on job and internship searches, cultivating robust relationships to track

Act as a liaison for internship focused initiatives around Michigan, including Detroit-based After 5 Intern
Program, Grand Rapids Intern Connect and Kalamazoo-based Monroe Brown Scholarship.

Awarded 75 students $63,000+ to help offset cost of completing unpaid internships.

Create, design and manage the Desire 2 Learn course utilized for all application and essay materials.
