Showcase
project
The mini goal for the 4th artifact is
next Monday, February 1.
This week you will still work with a partner when
you write your Showcase sentence at school.
Remember, you will need to make the same
artifact as your partner. Everyone is responsible to
make their own artifact. It is okay to make it
together. Or, you can make your artifacts
separately. Make sure you show up on Wednesday
ready to write your artifact sentence together.
You can bring your artifact in your Showcase box,
or you can email me a picture. If you send a
picture, the artifact needs to be on the lid of the
box so I can tell it is the right size.
Our new topic is Island of the Blue Dolphins.
Some ideas are: tiny canoe, Rontu, model of the
island, Karana, Aleut ship, a plank canoe, the
black stone necklace Tutok made for Karana, the
devil fish, a dolphin, a miniature scene of
Karanas home with the whale bone fence,
Captain Orlov, otter, Karana with Tutok, the
abalone hair circlet Karana made for Tutok, the
special devilfish spear that Karana made, the wild
dogs, Chief Chowig.
