Synopsis for the music video; Noor-e-Khuda

Most of our music video will be shown in a low key lighting as it is featuring the story of a
family that went through a tragedy. The first (approx) 20 seconds of our video will be without
the soundtrack and visuals. It will start with the sounds of gunshots and peoples screams
The video will start with the mother placing plates on a table. While she is about to place the
fourth plate, she stops, and puts it back at the sink. Then two pairs of school shoes will be
shown. The room will be dimly lit and we will focus on the shoes of which the mother will
pick one and put them in a bag. Only the hands of a mother picking them up will be visible.
After this, two bicycles will be shown, of which she will take one and put it in a dark store
room and shuts the door.
The scene will change and the band will be introduced to our audience. First, the guitarist
will be focused, playing the guitar, and then will be shifted to the vocalist. An extreme close
up of the lips of the vocalist singing on the mic will be shown.
After this, the scene will shift to the mother of the deceased boy who will be shown looking
at the picture of her late son and then gripping the school uniform of her son. We will focus
on her hand will gripping it and this is when the scene will shift to a flashback of the mother
and her two sons. She is sitting at the dinner table with her sons trying to help them
complete their homework. The younger son (the one who passed away) runs away solely to
annoy his mother while she chases him around the table, trying to get him back. This scene
will be shown in a high key lighting and vignette effect.
The scene changes and the band members are shown. This will be the first wide shot
showing the whole band together for the fisrt time in the video. There will be two vocalists,
some background female singers, two guitarist, a pianist and a vilonist. We will then shift
and take a mid shot or mid-long shot of the vocalist singing. This will also be shown in low
key lighting. After this a part comes with no lyrics and just the instruments playing. The
elder son of the mother is shown taking the uniform to his room. The camera is shifted to the
mother and she runs towards the boy and snatches the uniform. She throws it away and
hugs the child out of fear. This will show that she is not in favor of him going to the same
school.
The next morning the mother is seen on a prayer mat. Then, the band members will be
shown again performing. The pianist and the member playing the violin will also be focused.
The hands of the vocalist will be focused as well. This will be a cut in shot.
The mother is then shown getting up from the prayer mat and going to her sons room. She
looks at her son getting dressed and then looks at the empty bed beside him. This will be a
point of view shot.she helps him wear the green sweater which will be a symbolic thing that
is a connotation for APS. She fixes his tie and then the camera focuses at the boys face.

The scene shift again to the band members who will perform till the end of the song. After
the song is almost over the screen will fade out to black.
