 Communication is the sending and

receiving of spoken or written
messages between people and
places. Letters are the most common
means of communication. Other
means are telegram, telephone,
telex, fax, e-mail, radio, television,
newspapers, etc

 Years ago, Mark E. Zuckerberg 06-07 had a pretty good

idea. He wanted to make a website that would connect the
Harvard campus. Everyone would have a profile to list their
favorite music, hobbies, and inspirational quotes. They
could even list their courses! Who knows, maybe people
Zuckerberg didnt even know would use it.

 You can find so many ways to communicate on

Facebook, each one tailored to a different type of
person's preferences. On your profile, you can post
messages, selecting an audience of the public, only
your friends and even only yourself. If you want a more
private conversation, you can send a direct message to
a particular friend and start up a chat in that way.

 If you want to meet new people with similar

interests, you can seek them out in Facebook
groups or Facebook pages. Whatever your
social comfort level, you can find a place to
communicate with others on the social
network. When friends and family members
move across the country or to a different one,
Facebook can help you stay in touch when you
otherwise would not. Time differences can
make phone calls difficult to arrange, but
Facebook can help you remain in their lives.

 Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg says

technology will become so advanced that
people will be able to send thoughts to their
friends
"One day, I believe we'll be able to send full
rich thoughts to each other directly using
technology. You'll just be able to think of
something and your friends will immediately
be able to experience it too, if you'd like. This
would be the ultimate communication
technology,"

million people a month, according to
