A RESOLUTION

Recognizing Reverend Creflo Dollar and dedicating a road in his honor; and for other

purposes.

WHEREAS, Reverend Creflo Dollar has demonstrated his commitment to teaching the

Gospel, witnessing Christ through word and deed, and addressing the physical,

psychological, intellectual, and spiritual needs of others; and

WHEREAS, Reverend Dollar is the founder and senior pastor of World Changers Church

International in College Park, Georgia, World Changers Church-New York, and a host of

fellowship churches located throughout the United States and Australia; and

WHEREAS, recognized for his cutting-edge revelation and humorous, pragmatic approach,

Reverend Dollar enables thousands to experience grace, restoration, and healing as a result

of applying simple biblical principles to their lives; and

WHEREAS, he is a world-renowned Bible teacher, a sought-after conference speaker, and

13

a best-selling author, with hundreds of books, CDs, and DVDs in distribution worldwide; and

14

WHEREAS, Reverend Dollar is the publisher of the online publication, CHANGE magazine,

15

and his award-winning "Changing the World" television broadcast reaches nearly 1 billion

16

viewers around the globe; and

17

WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that this enduring example of God's message

18

be recognized by dedicating a road in his honor.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND ENACTED BY THE GENERAL

20

ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA that State Route 279/Old National Highway from the

21

intersection of 138/Jonesboro Road North to the bridge at Interstate 285 in Fulton County is

22

dedicated as the Creflo Dollar Highway.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Department of Transportation is authorized and

24

directed to erect and maintain appropriate signs dedicating the Creflo Dollar Highway.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed

26

to make appropriate copies of this resolution available for distribution to Reverend Creflo

27

Dollar and to the Department of Transportation.
