January 26, 2016

Aggravated Robbery Investigation


On Tuesday, January 26th, 2016, around 2:30 PM the Overland Park Police Department responded
to a robbery in the 4300 block of Merriam Drive.
Upon arrival officers contacted the victim and learned two black males had entered the victims
house and stole items from the victim. The victim reported one suspect was armed with a machete
type weapon. The victim was not injured during the incident.
The Overland Park Police Department is still actively investigating this case. The suspects are
being described as two black males, 40-45 years of age. The suspects were seen leaving the area
in an early 2000s Gold Chevrolet 4-door vehicle.
