valar morghulis but not by cancer

A Warning, A Reminder!

The deadly silent killer,

always waiting and lurking near.
Like the beast without heart and soul,
taking away all the toll.
Spreading like a fire it engulfed all that came.
It breaks her within!
But, she was lucky enough to know it well in time.
A warning, a reminder!
She had cancer.
Countless sleepless nights of pain and distress,
hovered upon her all the time.
The thief CANCER stole what was within,
but, nothing could jolt her smile and courage even when thin.
Strong as a mountain she stood against the beast,
Conquering the battle when it was known the least.
She sits and wonders today,
only if the world had not gone astray.
This deadly devil could not enter the world,
and there would be no loss of life and blood.

She wishes again today, if only the awareness spread faster than the devil,
lesser the loss could be against the evil.
A warning, a reminder!
Fight together against cancer.
Let nothing break the hope,
Let nothing corrode the faith.
Let determination stand firm against a roll of tobacco.
Let confidence inhale the purity.
Let no foreign force reign over is ever again!
The warning of life comes as a blessing,
take it along serious as you sing.
