Say no to scapegoating, dont let them freeze

Refugees welcome here!

Last weekend Labour leader
Jeremy Corbyn visited refugee
camps in Calais and Dunkirk.
His visit helped to expose the
appalling conditions refugees
face, with freezing temperatures
and increasing harassment.
Refugees have fled war
and persecution in Syria and
elsewhere only to become
scapegoats for the right wing
press and politicians.
In Britain weve seen asylum
seekers in Cardiff forced to
Name

wear red wrist bands by private

company Clearsprings Ready
Homes and G4S giving refugees
living in Middlesboro distinctive
red doors, making them a target
for racists.
The fact that all this has
been exposed during Holocaust
memorial week, where Jewish
people were forced to wear a
yellow star, makes it even more
chilling.
Tory Prime Minister
David Cameron added to the

Union/college

scapegoating of refugees and

migrants by blaming Muslim
women for failing to learn
English at a time when his
government has slashed funding
for English language classes
(ESOL).
Refugees cannot be left
to freeze in the camps, they
shouldnt face scapegoating in
Calais or Cardiff.
We should open the borders
and allow those fleeing war
poverty in.
