Dear Parent/Carer,
Your child is about to make the subject choices which will affect their future. The subjects that your
child selects in their options will define the choice of qualifications they will be able to apply for at
college and how these will enable them to compete for university places.
At Darton College, we take this process very seriously and are keen to ensure that your child is given
the right experience.
I would like to invite you to the Year 9 Options Information Evening on Thursday 21st January 2016 at
6.00pm in the Lecture Theatre.
The evening will give you the opportunity to listen to a short talk about your childs curriculum choices.
There will also be a brief overview on national changes to qualification choices and a chance to find out
a little bit more about the courses available as well as the opportunity to speak with key subject staff.
We would like both you and your child to join us.
If you would like to attend please complete the reply slip below and return it to college via your childs
form teacher.
