As for Bangladesh, the report says the country has seen a spurt in domestic economic activity since April

2015 after the end of the three-month long political violence since January.
The World Bank in a posting on its website says it revises the income classification of the world's
economies every year on July 1 through calculation using the World Bank Atlas method. According to
data released by Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS) on May 14, the per capita income in Bangladesh
rose from $1,190 to $1,314.
World Bank sees much geo-economic leverage for Bangladesh
According to WBs World Development Indicators Database and IMFs World Economic Outlook,
Bangladesh advanced 14 steps from the 58th position to 44th in the world economy in the last two years.
According to the WB and IMF reports, Bangladesh economy ranked 58th in the world with a GDP of
$149.99 billion based on current price in 2013. In 2015, the GDP grew to $205.3 billion taking Bangladesh
to the 44th position in the world economy.
