Executive Summary:
This report contains an overview about the Company, History of GlaxoSmithKline (GSK)
(Pakistan), Literature Review, Hypothesis, software results, along with the conclusion.
The research is based on the demand for pharmaceutical products that is dependent on
multiple factors. Pharmaceutical marketing is based on customers that are primarily,
doctors. To approach doctors for detailing product's message, field force is used
extensively. According to recent analysis, it was been found out that, by increasing field
force or travelling, detailing cost also increase. We have only included all factors that are
in control of the firm. Taking this study into consideration, we have gathered information
for one of the product Monopril and took data of last 60 (Observations) quarters of
Detailing cost, Promotional Expenses, Advertisement and Prices.
Literature Review:
Finosinopril was originally developed and marketed by BMS Pharmaceuticals (BristolMyers Squibb) and was most recently manufactured and marketed by GSK Laboratories
before its withdrawal from the market. It is classified as a Schedule IV controlled
substance in the United States.
