Trekkie Films Science Fiction for a new audience
As a British film production company specialising in science
fiction, we are always on the lookout for the new exciting ideas
to make our next film. We are not interested in the same-old,
same-old formula that will be quickly forgotten.
Science Fiction films have entertained audiences for many
years, and we are keen to make a new film in the genre. We
want to attract a target audience of 16-30 year-olds and appeal
to both male and female audiences. And, importantly, we are
keen for the film to explore some of the concerns in our modern
age through the key ideas in science fiction perhaps alien
invasion; nuclear threat or catastrophe; mutations of creatures;
space or time travel.
Your remit is to come up with a pitch that meets our challenge.
An important aspect in considering your idea will be how we are
going to market it to the target audience across the media,
including interactive aspects of your idea using the internet
and, if possible, mobile technology.
You have until the week beginning 22nd February 2016 to
prepare, and then you will be asked to complete four tasks.
Remember to:
Keep your responses short and focused
Use diagrams/illustrations where appropriate
Provide examples where you can to support your ideas.
Good luck with this we look forward to hearing from you!
