Sweden is Located between Finland and Norway in Northern
Europe.
Its Capital is Stockholm.
The official language of Sweden is Swedish. Though they also
speak English.
They are calm and believes in Social equality.

PUNCTUALITY
Being late is seen as poor etiquette.
If you must be late for any reason it is polite
to

phone and let someone know.

In the same essence do not arrive too early.

BUSINESS DRESS CODE


Fashionably well-dressed in public.
Appropriate clothes would be a dark suit and tie
for men.
Business suit or skirt and blouse for women.
Trousers are also acceptable for businesswomen.
It is strongly recommended that you do not wear
anything flashy.

with a handshake.

Meeting should not be set at beginning of the
day.
The ideal times are 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Do not expect to meet after 4 p.m.
Do not schedule meetings in the months of June,
July, or August, as well as in late February.

WORKING HOURS
Normal working hours in Sweden are 40 hours a week.
Work hours are usually from 9:00 am to 5 pm.
Working overtime is neither valued nor seen as
necessary.
Swedes work from their homes.
Do not disturb your Swedish business partners outside
of office hours on business related matters.

GIFT GIVING
Gifts are rarely given at the beginning of the
relationship.
Wait for your Swedish partner to give you a gift
first.
Exchanging gifts is not common at the beginning
of a business relationships.
