Staff Recruitment

Kuwait English School is committed to securing the services of the best

personnel available. We seek to employ suitably qualified and
experienced personnel who can actively contribute to the life of the
school by being effective in the area to which they are appointed – be
it in a leadership/teaching role, admin role or in our support service
section.

Written applications are required of all candidates for employment. The

written application is to consist of a CV and a letter of application.

We are always pleased to receive CVs and letters of application at any

time throughout the year. However the main recruitment period is
generally February/March of each year (applications for this time to be
received from December onwards).

Kuwait English School advertises its posts in the Times Educational

Supplement (TES) published weekly in paper form in the UK and online
at www.tes.co.uk.

Please note the falsification or withholding of information during the

application process will be grounds for dismissal if the applicant is
hired. The School will require that all applicants co-operate fully with
background investigations, supplying referees so the school can
contact previous employers. The primary consideration is providing a
safe, quality-learning environment for our students.

Appointments

The final appointment of staff will be upon the recommendation of the

School Director and Head Teacher, subject to approval of
documentation submitted to the Higher Management of the School.

All teaching staff employed at the school are expected to have the
highest degree of commitment to education and its development and
to participate in the school’s recreational/extra curricular programme.

All staff under Kuwait Law will be subject to a fingerprint check for
government records. Contracts of employment are conditional for both
parties, employer and employee, pending completion of a probation
period of 100 days in accordance with Kuwait Labour law.
