EXT - HIGH STREET - DAY - SPRING
CAMERA 1 - PAN L>R
Diagonal angle looking at a blossoming tree, the
pavement and street below, and the sun catches the lense. A
car begins to drive past, with the sounds of birds, people
chattering and engines going past.
CUT TO:
WIDE/MED SHOT - CAMERA 2 - STEADYCAM
Facing the tree straight on panning gradually from
right to left; the sun softly shining to the right of the
tree, and the car carries on going past. Leaves blow past
the camera and the wind whistles faintly; there is a faint
clacking of shoes.
CUT TO:
LOW ANGLE & FOLLOW -CAMERA 3
Following the window cleaners shoes walking on the
pavement.
CUT TO:
MEDIUM SHOT - FOLLOW - CAMERA 1
See the window cleaners face and he continues to walk;
he has a neutral expression.
CUT TO:
PAN & FOLLOW - CAMERA 1
Pan down to see his name plate and move across to one
arm that is holding a bucket and tools, camera moves to
other arm that holds a squeegee and flannel (he is
continuing to walk so is bobbing up and down slightly).
WIDE SHOT - CAMERA 4
Viewing his destination- camera faces beauty parlor
straight on, and he stops in front of one of the large
windows.

His arms setting down the tools on the floor.
DISSOLVE
LOW ANGLE LOOKING UP/MID SHOT - CAMERA 2
[Jeff] has glum expression as he is alone to do his
work. He looks down at his tools preparing to use them.

POV [JEFFS] - CAMERA 5
Looking down at the bucket and rinsing a cloth and
twisting it, and water escapes the cloth.

Side view of [Jeff] wiping the window with soap water.

[Jeffs] face still with a neutral expression doing his
work. Show his eyes glance to look inside the beauty
parlour.

Looking inside the parlour women sitting being

clean the floor.

A leaf blows past in the streets.Follow leaf as it
blows further away. The tree is shown, beautifully
blossomed, full and healthy. The sun is shining stronger.

WIDE SHOT - STEADYCAM - CAMERA 3
Look at the tree from the back; view the front of the
beauty parlour at the same time.

The familiar mop hits the parlour floor.

the window and smiles joyfully.

he is carrying on work.

Bellami slowly looking up, then a large smile spreads
across her face.

Zooming out of [Jeff] and the window; there is drawing
with many hearts drawn through the soap water.

The clock shows 4:30pm.

Bellami looks at the time.

She turns and waves goodbye, now knowing what time he
leaves.

Jeff waves goodbye and blows a kiss through the window.

Jeff leaves, walking down the street into the low sun.

Looking at a calendar, the pages rip off from September
to December. [No BG]

EXT. HIGH STREET - EVENING

CLOSE TO WIDE SHOT - FOLLOW - CAMERA 1
Close up of snowflakes falling, pan to look once again
at the grand tree it has lost all its leaves but is
surrounded in blankets of snow. It is snowing heavily, the
sky is quite dark.
FADE TO
PAN L>R - CAMERA 1
Looking at the back of the tree and the front of the
parlour, frozen and covered in snow.
FADE TO
CLOSE UP - FOLLOW - CAMERA 2
Bellami looks at the window, sad, as all this time, the
window cleaner never came back. Camera follows as she looks
down at her watch to see it is 4:30pm and December 24th.
CUT TO
EXT. OUTSIDE
CLOSE UP - CAMERA 3
Bellami holds keys in her gloved hands locking the
front door.
CUT TO
MID SHOT - CAMERA 4
Side view of her looking at what she is doing, but
looking sad and her breath showing in the cold. She then
looks up at the sky to see the thick snowflakes falling.
CUT TO
HIGH ANGLE - CAMERA 2
Camera looking up at the sky and snowflakes fall
towards it.
CUT TO
BIRDS EYE - MID SHOT -CAMERA 3
Camera moves [looking down] from the door to see the
top of Bellami's head, she stretches her arm out of catch

snowflakes.
From the same position, camera zooms out to wide shot,
as frozen, delicate bubbles emerge and float above her.
Cut to a low angle shot; she looks down at her hand; the
bubbles creep around her.
CUT TO
CLOSE UP - STEADYCAM - CAMERA 3
Bellami is surprised and looks at the glistening
bubbles.

CLOSE UP - CAMERA 2
View of her hand as a bubble gently lands and freezes
into a beautiful bauble.

Close up of her face as she looks down at her hand,
slightly confused, but a small smile turns into a grin as
she slowly remembers and realises. She then turns around

WIDE SHOT - CAMERA 5
Bubbles float in front of the camera; they glide away
to reveal the marvellous tree decorated in frozen bubbles
that glisten like crystals and bubbles are floating around
it.

CLOSE UP - CAMERA 2
Close up of her eyes gleaming, her smiling
delightfully, looking slowing from left to right at the
beautiful sight.

bashful, then up at her, smiling warmly.

Bellami is surprised, cant believe its him, and smiles
in return.

He smiles, then closes eyes and smiles at her

She smiles too, covers her mouth with her gloves in
happiness, eyes closed too, delighted.
