SLAUGHTER
HOUSE
Became an Urban Plaza on the bank of
Turaag River.

SLAUGHTER HOUSE

PERMEABILITY
The space is permeable both physically
& visually. The boundary is not
hampering visual relationship with
surrounding. Also the monumental scale
of the main complex also helps to bring it
to the common people.

VARIETY AND LEGIBILITY

The total complex is not designed n a
single tone. The ups & downs of plaza,
the distinguished graveyards all varies
but still share the same horizon & space.
Sitting arrangements in nodes, clear and
sharp but not annoying pathways let the
visitor to sense the impression , sit and
think about the glory of victory and the
miserable feelings of loosing someone
beloved and respected .

ROBUSTNESS
As the place is open for dwellers the
space is a public space. No one can
control the spontaneous activity of people
whether they show disrespect to the
people whos resting here for piece and
independence for a piece of land. The
robustness might be very odd and highly
conflicting to the main concept and goal.
