 Water exist together with the salt in the

solution
PROCESS OF EXPERIMENT
 After some time the water molecules from
the lower concentration of salt solution will
move to the cell with higher concentration of
salt solution
 From the left cell to the right cell
 Move from higher water concentration to
lower water concentration
 Move from lower salt concentration to higher
salt concentration

This is the process of OSMOSIS!!!

RESULT OF EXPERIMENT
 Cell on the right will expand as water
molecules from left cell move to right cell
 After some time, the right cell will explode
as there are too many water molecules in it
 After some time, the left cell will shrink as
there is too few water molecules in it
