Ica has one of the driest
climates in the world, around 1
inch of rainfall for the whole
year. Temperatures are hot
during the summer months and
mild weather through the winter
months.

Ica's location in the desert
provides unique opportunities
for tourism, such as the
nearby Huacachina oasis,
located in the midst of sand
dunes. It attracts international
travelers, as well as resort
seekers from Peru. Some young
visitors try sandboarding; others
travel the dunes in sand
buggies.

amazing places where you can
get lots of fun in the city center

Food
ica is famous for its drink
called pisco sour, but there
are also some dishes as
famous as this, like :
carapulcra, sopa seca, etc

Transportation
there are many forms of
public transportation, but
heavy traffic is a problem
during rush hour. afterall,
public transportation is
affordable.
